Conservatives, Have Faith!

My nine year old daughter wrote a beautiful essay about faith yesterday…. Yesterday, before Governor Romney dropped out of the race.  Before Dr. James Dobson endorsed Mike Huckabee for president.  Before the momentum behind Mike Huckabee rose up and up and up, as blogs on his website kept getting more and more comments and the ticker showing the money raised for the campaign kept getting higher and higher. Indeed, faith is believing in something that is unseen…it is believing in our God and trusting him to preserve us and our nation.  From Hebrews 11 we learn that: 1Now faith is … Continue reading Conservatives, Have Faith!

Victory!

Psalm 44 3 It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.4 You are my King and my God, who decrees [a] victories for Jacob. All Glory and Honor to you, my King. You have caused media pundits to scratch their heads in befuddlement. Who To Vote For?

NOTE: Huckabee won all 18 delegates from West Virginia this afternoon! This blog is intended to be a “cliff’s notes” for those readers who are just now researching the candidates for the upcoming primary election. He is the only candidate who supports a human life amendment … Continue reading Who To Vote For?

Against All Odds: Can Huck win Super Tuesday?

Many things in life happen against all odds. Last night’s surprise ending to the Super Bowl, for one. I’ve written a lot about the underdog and how the Lord often uses those least suited, in our eyes, anyway, to accomplish His goals. One such underdog was David, who not only defeated Goliath but was also an accomplished writer. Reading the Psalms is like looking into the soul of a man who, though flawed, sought to please God in everything he did. Those of us who support the Republican primary’s underdog, Mike Huckabee, can learn a lot about achieving victory in … Continue reading Against All Odds: Can Huck win Super Tuesday?

Mike Huckabee: My 5 Smooth Stones

I’ve been busy creating this voter’s guide to help spotlight why I support Huckabee for president, so this blog will be brief! huckabeevoterguide08.pdf Governor Huckabee released this statement today: We are in this race to win despite the desperate efforts by the Romney campaign to try and say that “a vote for me is a vote for McCain”.  Actually, a vote for me is a vote for me! We have outlasted Rudy, Fred, and others who were supposed to be the winners.  Only 8% of the Republican delegates have been selected, and we have about the same number of delegates … Continue reading Mike Huckabee: My 5 Smooth Stones
