Today I read about the beginning of Jesus’ ministry. John the Baptist prepared the way for the people, and Jesus began with mercy by healing the sick. The first thing he did after calling the fishermen to be fishers of men was to heal a member of their family.

How comforting to know that Jesus was and is given authority to heal!

I found out today that I have fibromyalgia. The good news is that the Lord will heal me…and the doctor has some definite ideas about how to make me feel better: rest, stretching, and pain meds. I like the rest part of the solution…but the exercise? Not so much.

I’ll just take each day as it comes and pray the Lord will rain healing on my body!
