Go away panic attacks

Proverbs 1-3 Just a quick blog tonight…er…this morning.  We just returned from attending our nephew’s graduation.  It was wonderful seeing family!  Unfortunately, my body betrayed me again, and I ended up with a doozy of a panic attack.  These things usually happen in social situations — maybe I secretly don’t like being on my best behavior?  HaHa!  Seriously, there is a link between them and PMS.  I can go and do and be social — and then all of a sudden I’m bodyslammed with chest pain, tightness, stomach cramps, nausea, trouble swallowing, and the kind of panic that makes my … Continue reading Go away panic attacks

A seal over my heart

Song of Solomon Whew!  The book of Song of Solomon is full of innuendo and love talk.  I’ve always known that, but I never sat down and read all eight chapters in one reading. It’s fitting for me to read these chapters right in the middle of my vacation with my husband.  Being just the two of us again reminds me of all the reasons why I love him.   I’m a lucky woman indeed to be married to a man who is so easy going.  Even though WE are on vacation, it’s been more or less as if I … Continue reading A seal over my heart

I’ve learned through the years that my thought processes are easily adaptable to whatever people I talk to or … Continue reading Illuminate my path

Wisdom Requested

1 Kings 3-4; 2Chronicles 1; Psalm 72 Today was a beautiful day.  As we sat on the balcony overlooking the ocean, my husband pointed out different ocean features to me.  We observed a huge school of fish, probably about three miles wide, swirling across the sea.  These fish were huge; as far off as they were, I caught glimpses of them as they churned up water.  I like hanging out with my husband.  He is interested in everything and is always learning.  It’s a kick to be by his side. Today’s reading is about King Solomon and his request that … Continue reading Wisdom Requested
